Dahlia’s Mitzvah Project

A Mitzvah project ("mitzvah" in Hebrew = "good deed") is a meaningful, community-oriented project undertaken by Jewish teenagers, often in preparation for a Bar or Bat Mitzvah, to express their commitment to helping others and making a positive impact in the world. It aligns with the Jewish value of Tikkun Olam, a Hebrew phrase meaning "repairing the world."

Dahlia will be raising money and collecting needed items for SafeHouse Center, a shelter in Ann Arbor for women and their children, that provides free and confidential services to survivors of intimate partner violence and sexual assault.
